Danielle Mann is the General Manager and Lead Personal Support Worker at OPen Minds Cambridge, bringing 14 years of experience in the Personal Support Worker field and a deep commitment to supporting individuals of all abilities with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Throughout her career, Danielle has gained extensive experience supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs, with a particular specialization in autism and mental health. Her approach is rooted in person-centred care, recognizing that every individual has their own strengths, challenges, goals, and way of experiencing the world. She believes meaningful support begins with meeting people where they are, building trust, and creating an environment where they feel safe, valued, understood, and included.

Danielle’s passion for helping others extends far beyond the traditional responsibilities of a PSW. Known for her empathy, selflessness, advocacy, and hands-on approach to leadership, she is deeply invested in the individuals and families she serves. She believes that every person deserves the opportunity to experience belonging, build independence, develop meaningful relationships, and work toward goals that matter to them.

As General Manager and Lead PSW of OPen Minds Cambridge, Danielle combines frontline experience with leadership, program development, staff mentorship, advocacy, and community outreach. She is passionate about demonstrating the important role Personal Support Workers can play beyond traditional care settings and helping create innovative, inclusive services that respond to the needs of the whole person.

For Danielle, this work has never been simply a career. It is about showing up for people, advocating when their voices are not being heard, celebrating progress in all its forms, and ensuring that every individual who walks through the doors of OPen Minds Cambridge knows there is a place where they belong.
